Luca Guadagnino is an Italian film director and producer.
Born in Palermo in 1971, he graduated from Sapienza University of Rome in the faculty of History and Critics of Cinema and made his directorial debut with the feature film The Protagonists (1999).
His works include feature films, shortcuts and documentaries.
Among his best known works are feature films I Am Love (2009), A Bigger Splash (2012) and Call Me By Your Name (2017).
The latter won for Best Adapted Screenplay at the 90th Academy Awards.
